On November 6, the final of the 15th"Green Cup" Comprehensive Chemistry Knowledge Competition of ShanghaiSecond University of Technology was held in the lecture hall on the third floorof the Graphic Information Center. The competition, with the theme of"turning light into color and learning into application", aims toencourage students to apply chemical knowledge to real life, promote theconstruction of learning style and practice the concept of greendevelopment. Heads of the Academic Affairs Office and the School ofResources and Environmental Engineering attended the meeting.

At the opening ceremony, members of the ChemicalResearch Society performed Lumino fluorescence experiment.

Xia Yanchun, Director of Academic AffairsOffice, delivered an opening speech for the competition. The competitionis divided into individual competition and team competition. The 12 contestantscompeted fiercely in the four links of must answer, answer selection, you canguess and scramble for answers. The contestants showed solid chemicalfoundation, rich life and chemical knowledge, and steady performance on thefield. The interactive links include chemistry related video question andanswer and lottery. After four rounds of fierce competition, this"Green Cup" has decided one first prize, two second prizes and threethird prizes.

As one of the important competitionactivities of the school, the "Green Cup" comprehensive chemistryknowledge contest has created opportunities for students to show their chemicalknowledge, played an active role in talent training and learning styleconstruction, further stimulated our students' interest in chemistry, promotedknowledge exchange and innovation, and injected new vitality into theconstruction of campus knowledge and culture.
