On March 24, 2025, the Party Committee ofthe College of Resources and Environmental Engineering held an expanded meetingto deploy the in-depth implementation of the spirit of the eight centralprovisions of learning and education. Members of the college's party andgovernment team, party branch secretaries and deputy secretaries attended themeeting, which was chaired by Wang Jifen, the college's party secretary.

At the meeting, Jin Huiming, DeputySecretary of the Party Committee of the College, conveyed the spirit oflearning from the two sessions, and Wang Jifen conveyed the important speechand important directive spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping on deeplyimplementing the spirit of learning and education of the eight provisions ofthe Central Committee, and explained in detail the Implementation Plan of theParty Committee of Shanghai Second University of Technology on DeeplyImplementing the Spirit of Learning and Education of the eight provisions ofthe Central Committee. Closely combining with the actual work, we willdeploy the college level to carry out in-depth implementation of the eightcentral regulations on spiritual learning and education.

The meeting pointed out that it is a majordecision and deployment made by the Party Central Committee with Comrade XiJinping at the core to carry out in-depth learning and education in the spiritof implementing the eight provisions of the Central Committee throughout theParty. All Party members and teachers and students of the college shouldstudy and understand deeply, earnestly implement the spirit of GeneralSecretary Xi Jinping's important speech and instructions, deeply understand thedecisive significance of "two establishment", resolutely achieve"two maintenance", unify thoughts and actions to the decision-makingdepartment of the CPC Central Committee, and carry out good learning andeducation with high quality and high standards.

The meeting required that the organizationand leadership should be effectively strengthened, and the solid results oflearning and education should be ensured through overall planning andcombination. The Party Committee of the College should strictly implementthe main responsibilities, the leadership should perform "one post withtwo responsibilities", and should firmly refrain from formalism, resolutelyabandon the mentality of coping with ideas and passing standards, focus on bothbusiness and work style, resolutely prevent "two skins", and combinelearning and education with the rectification of unhealthy practices andcorruption around the masses, and the rectification of formalism to reduce theburden on the grass-roots level, In combination with the comprehensivedeepening of reform and the central work of the college, such as theapplication for the Expo, we should ensure that two things are correct and twothings are promoted. Party branch secretaries should shoulder the"first responsibility", refine the division of tasks, form a workingpattern of "one level at a time, one level at a time", and worktogether to plan, organize, and implement learning and education. Partymembers and cadres should strictly abide by the rules and disciplines, and dealwith the problems found in violation of the spirit of the eight provisions ofthe Central Committee during the study and education strictly and seriously,never condone, and earnestly transform the results of study and education intothe actual results of promoting the high-quality development of the college.

After the meeting, all party branchesorganized a special meeting at the first time to study and deploy the in-depthimplementation of the spirit of learning and education in accordance with theeight provisions of the Central Committee.
