Our college held two academic exchangelectures

On November 13, 2024, our institutesuccessfully held two academic exchange lectures in the 339 conference room ofBuilding 16.

Lecture 1: Experience exchange of NSFC

In order to make teachers and students betterunderstand the National Fund and improve the NSFC funding rate of the College,on the afternoon of November 13, Zihuan College held a "National FundExperience Exchange" sharing exchange meeting in Room 339, Building16. This activity invited Professor Xia Caichu, Deputy Director of theRock Mechanics Research Institute of Ningbo University, to share the relevantknowledge of the National Fund, and to give a detailed explanation of theapplication skills, experience sharing, policy interpretation, etc., attractingmany teachers and students from the college to participate.

The keynote speaker, Mr. Xia Caichu, is thedeputy director of the Institute of Rock Mechanics of Ningbo University, theinitiator of the Deep Earth Energy Storage Branch of the Chinese Society ofRock Mechanics and Engineering, and the deputy director of the TestingProfessional Committee. This NSFC exchange meeting provided valuablelearning and exchange opportunities for scientific researchers. Throughthe meeting, the teachers had a deep understanding of the latest policydevelopments, application skills and successful cases of the NationalFund. Through experts sharing scientific research experience andapplication experience, teachers also kept learning and thinking to prepare forthe next fund application.

Lecture II: Development Method and Practiceof Industrialization oriented Chemical Industry

  The lecture invited Dr. ZhangXinping, assistant to the general manager of the Science and TechnologyInnovation Center of Sinochem Chemical Business Unit, which mainly included theconcept and cases of concurrent engineering, introduction to typical managementprocesses, methods and practice cases of chemical concurrent development, andenlightenment to chemical R&D, and briefly introduced the situation of theScience and Technology Innovation Center of the Chemical Business Unit. Inview of the characteristics of comprehensiveness, creativity and complexity ofchemical R&D activities, the current enterprise R&D is driven by themarket and customers, and is organized by the parallel development method.

Dr. Zhang Xinping has been engaged intechnology development and management in enterprises for many years, and hascross-border work experience in enterprises and universities. He led studentsto understand the new journey of chemical innovation. Guided by process systemengineering, guided by conceptual design, he took the "three closecombinations" as the means, and guaranteed by internal and external crossplatform and multi discipline cooperation, he coordinated STEM to achieveindustrialization. Dr. Zhang Xinping said that the chemical concurrentdevelopment method will play a more important role in the chemicalindustry. With the continuous progress of science and technology and theintensification of market competition, chemical enterprises should activelylearn from successful experience, dare to innovate, and constantly optimize theR&D management model, so as to contribute to the sustainable development ofthe chemical industry. It is believed that under the guidance of paralleldevelopment method, the chemical industry will usher in a more brillianttomorrow.

This academic exchange lecture providessupport for the next step of scientific research and talentintroduction. All teachers and students of Zihuan College will continue toforge ahead, seize the opportunity of development, and help the college developto a new level and a new height.
