On the morning of October 16, the PartyCommittee of the College of Resources and Environmental Engineering held anenlarged meeting of the Party Committee's central group to convey the spirit oflearning the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on Partydiscipline learning and education and the spirit of the meeting of the Centraland Shanghai Party Construction Leading Group, summarize the situation of Partydiscipline learning and education in the College, and deploy and promote the normalizationand long-term work of Party discipline learning and education. All Partybranch secretaries and some teachers' party members' representatives attendedthe meeting, which was presided over by Wang Jifen, Secretary of the PartyCommittee of the College.

At the meeting, Jin Huiming, DeputySecretary of the College Party Committee and member of the DisciplineInspection Commission, conveyed the spirit of learning the importantinstructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on learning and education of partydiscipline and the spirit of the meeting of the leading group of the centraland Shanghai party building work, requiring all college members and teachers toadhere to daily integration, focus on regular work, and promote thenormalization and long-term effectiveness of party discipline learning andeducation. Take the learning and education of Party discipline as alifelong compulsory course, constantly review, improve day by day, learn for along time and in depth, constantly find problems, complement weaknesses, andgain new experience and understanding. We should continue to correctunhealthy practices, promote "dare not corrupt, can not corrupt, do notwant to corrupt", deepen the use of "four forms" of disciplineenforcement and supervision, and implement "three distinctions".

Wang Jifen, the secretary of the PartyCommittee, stressed that when the learning and education of Party disciplinewas not completed, but only carried out, efforts should be made to consolidateand deepen, work hard on the normal long-term effect, and work hard on thepractical implementation, so as to effectively transform the achievements ofParty discipline learning and education into a powerful force to promote thehigh-quality development of the college. First, we should improve ourpolitical position, make efforts to consolidate and deepen the learning andeducation of Party discipline, deeply learn and implement the importantstatement of General Secretary Xi Jinping on comprehensively strengthening theconstruction of Party discipline, deeply learn and understand the scientificconnotation and practical requirements of the important statement of GeneralSecretary Xi Jinping, and truly internalize and externalize learning, knowing,understanding, and observing discipline. Second, we should strengthentracking and efficiency, and work hard to promote the normal long-term effectof Party discipline learning and education. Establish a normalized andlong-term learning mechanism, combine the learning and education of partydiscipline with the learning and education of party history and the spirit ofthe 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, especially thespirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of theCommunist Party of China, and promote the learning and education of partydiscipline to be integrated into daily life and focused on regularwork. Third, we must adhere to the combination of learning andapplication, work hard on the practical work of Party discipline learning andeducation, and promote the transformation of learning achievements into astrong driving force for high-quality development. We should work hard,strive for practical results, fulfill our duties, and act responsibly. Weshould integrate learning, thinking, practice, knowledge, trust, and practice.We should take the promotion of development as the starting point and footholdof all our work. We should work harder to promote the high-quality developmentof the college to a new level.
