On the morning of December 30, Mr. Ding Bo, General Manager of Shanghai Weishi Semiconductor Co., Ltd., and his delegation visited our university to attend the cooperation signing ceremony and the unveiling ceremony of the graduate training base. The event was held at the university's Party Building Center. Attendees included Mr. Bao Qifan, President of the Shanghai Model Worker Academy; Mr. Fei Weihua, Executive Vice President; members of the Party Committee of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering; and representatives of faculty and students. The meeting was presided over by Ms. Wang Jifen, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering.

At the signing ceremony, both parties conducted in-depth discussions on future collaboration concerning industry-education integration and graduate training. Mr. Ding Bo provided a detailed introduction to the company’s development history and main business activities. He emphasized that innovation is the cornerstone and core driving force of the company’s sustainable development. He further stated that, in the future, the company will deeply integrate the spirit of model workers and the spirit of craftsmanship, making these values important guiding forces for the company’s progress. He also expressed hope that this signing would serve as an opportunity to deepen university-enterprise cooperation and promote the development of industry-education integration.

During the signing session, Ms. Wang Jifen, on behalf of the university, signed the strategic cooperation framework agreement and the agreement for the joint graduate training base with Shanghai Weishi Semiconductor Co., Ltd. Mr. Ding Bo, General Manager of Shanghai Weishi Semiconductor Co., Ltd., and Mr. Zhang Chenglong, Vice Dean of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, jointly unveiled the Industry-Education Integration Training Base. Meanwhile, Mr. Ding Bo and Ms. Jin Huiming, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering, jointly unveiled the Corporate Graduate Workstation.

Before the signing ceremony, Mr. Bao Qifan led Mr. Ding Bo and his delegation on a tour of the “Bao Qifan Innovation Journey Exhibition Hall” at our university. Drawing from his own experiences, Mr. Bao introduced the university’s outstanding achievements in promoting and implementing the spirit of model workers, the labor spirit, and the spirit of craftsmanship. He emphasized that innovation, perseverance, hard work, and diligent research are the defining characteristics of every student at the university.
