FromNovember 6 to 7, the seminar on new energy solid waste treatment technology andequipment was held in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province. The conference wasco-sponsored by China Association of Machinery Industry for EnvironmentalProtection and China Renewable Resources Industry Technology InnovationStrategic Alliance. It was co-hosted by Everbright Environmental ProtectionTechnical Equipment (Changzhou), and Shanghai Polytechnic University. Jifen Wang,Secretary of the Party Committee of our college, and President Quanfa Zhou ledthe team to participate.

Theconference invited well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad toconduct in-depth interpretation and analysis on the cutting-edge technologies,policies and regulations, and industrial development of new energy solid wastetreatment, and the dean of comprehensive Law of our Institute issued animportant report on the recycling and resource technology of decommissionedphotovoltaic modules. And led the team to visit the new energy power batterysolid waste treatment project production lines of Everbright EnvironmentalProtection Technical Equipment (Changzhou) and Changzhou Houde RenewableResources Technology to understand the advanced technology and practicalexperience of solid waste treatment and disposal of enterprises, and to conductin-depth discussions on key technical links.

Theleaders of the School of Resources and Environmental Engineering led the teamto participate in the seminar and conducted on-site inspections of enterprises,which effectively promoted the in-depth exchanges and cooperation between theschool and the enterprise, seeking greater cooperation space in collaborativeeducation, improving the quality of talent training and promoting high-qualityinternship and employment of students, and jointly creating a new situation ofwin-win cooperation.
